Steve Penrod was named general manager of the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in February 2005. Prior to this assignment, he served as the plant’s manager for seven years.
Mr. Penrod joined the Paducah plant in 1979 as a Design Engineer and later became an Engineering Project Manager. He has served in several supervisory positions since then in Operations, Health Physics and the Health and Safety Division.
Mr. Penrod earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Illinois University.
