USEC Inc. and the Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Group (B&W) have launched American Centrifuge Manufacturing, LLC, to provide world-class manufacturing and assembly of USEC’s AC100, the world’s most advanced uranium enrichment centrifuge. It will manufacture and supply the centrifuge machines for USEC’s American Centrifuge Plant, thereby helping to meet global energy demand while supporting America’s energy and national security.

American Centrifuge Manufacturing has a manufacturing facility at USEC’s American Centrifuge Technology and Manufacturing Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

American Centrifuge Manufacturing combines the innovative centrifuge technology and enrichment experience of USEC, the manufacturing expertise of B&W, and the contributions of multiple suppliers to provide integrated manufacturing and assembly of centrifuge machines for USEC’s American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio, in a safe, secure and efficient manner. American Centrifuge Manufacturing will also provide spare parts and other maintenance support services for the American Centrifuge Project.
