PIKETON, Ohio – USEC is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Beverly and Dan Krey to its Piketon Human Resources organization.
Rob Beverly joins USEC as Manager, Human Resources Operations. Beverly will work closely on the day-to-day operational direction of the HR organization. He will be replacing Gary Hairston, who will be retiring at the end of June with 35 years of service.
Beverly has spent the last 28 years with the NewPage/Mead Corporation in Chillicothe. Most recently, he was NewPage’s Senior Human Resources Manager, responsible for all HR, labor and payroll activities. He holds an M.A. in Business Management from Antioch University and a B.A. from Ohio University. He and wife Shelly reside in Chillicothe.
Dan Krey joins USEC as Manager, Labor Relations. In this role Krey will be responsible for providing day-to-day labor support and consulting to both the Government Services organization and to the American Centrifuge organization.
Krey worked at General Motors Corporation for the last 25 years, spending the bulk of his career at the Moraine, Ohio plant. He has extensive experience in Labor Relations at GM and worked tirelessly in creating a collaborative labor environment at GM, most recently as the Manager of Employment and Labor Relations at Moraine. He has an MBA from New York Institute of Technology and a B.A. from Capital University in Columbus. Krey and his family live in Beavercreek, Ohio.
USEC Inc., a global energy company, is a leading supplier of enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants. It expects to deploy the next generation uranium enrichment technology in Piketon, Ohio – the American Centrifuge. The United States Enrichment Corporation, a subsidiary of USEC Inc., operates a uranium enrichment plant in Paducah, Kentucky, and does contract work for the U.S. Department of Energy in Piketon.
