Karr Promoted to USEC Compensation Manager

PIKETON, Ohio - USEC is pleased to announce that Peggy Karr has been promoted to Compensation Manager for the company. In her new role, Karr will have primary responsibility for design and implementation of the company’s compensation programs for salaried employees at all sites. She will continue working from her office at the Piketon plant.

“We are excited to have Peggy serve our company in this role,” said Richard Rowland, Corporate Director, Human Resources. “It is a complex position requiring someone with the right mix of skill, education and experience, all of which Peggy has amply demonstrated. We believe Peggy is a great fit and will continue to be a valuable contributor in this new role.”

Karr has worked at the Piketon plant for more than 27 years and has held the position of Compensation Consultant, Sr. in the Human Resources Department since 1998. She has a BBA and MBA from Ohio University.

She and her husband Bruce reside in Scioto Trails State Park, south of Chillicothe. She has two grown daughters and one grandson.
