Jordan Named USEC General Manager of Piketon Plant Contract Work
-Jordan Brings Years of Plant Experience, Local Background-

PIKETON, Ohio - The United States Enrichment Corporation, a subsidiary of USEC Inc., has named Wray Jordan as general manager of contract services work at the Piketon plant. Jordan replaces Pat Musser who has been in the position since 2000 and has decided to pursue other opportunities. Jordan officially takes responsibility for the position on November 18, 2005.

“USEC has had numerous successes at the Piketon site under Pat’s management and we wish him well as he turns another corner in his career,” said Russ Starkey, USEC vice president of operations.

“Wray brings a depth of experience in program management, operations and business planning,” said Starkey. “This experience will prove valuable in overseeing the contract work that U.S. Enrichment Corporation performs for the Department of Energy on the site, as well as activities provided in support of USEC Inc. and its American Centrifuge program.”

Jordan has been associated with the Piketon plant for over 27 years. Most recently, Jordan served as the director of program management at the plant. Previously, he was in program management at USEC’s headquarters office in Bethesda, Maryland. Prior to joining USEC in 1999, Jordan worked for Lockheed Martin Utility Services (LMUS) both at its headquarters and at the plant. As an LMUS employee, he spent 16 years at the plant in production, maintenance, materials and environmental, safety and health.

Jordan, originally from Ohio, received a BS in Education from the University of Rio Grande and an MBA from Xavier University. Jordan, his wife Julie, and their children, Chelsea and Tyler, maintain homes both in Frederick, Maryland and in Waverly, Ohio. His daughter Megan, stepdaughter Mary Lynn, stepson Greg and several grandchildren reside in Ohio.

USEC Inc. (NYSE:USU), a global energy company, is the world’s leading supplier of enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants.
