PIKETON, Ohio - USEC Inc. has awarded Arden Gill, Accounting Specialist Senior-Lead at USEC’s Piketon Plant, its quarterly E-III President’s Award for his outstanding work implementing a new Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) compliance program. The E-III Award, which stands for Employee Excellence and Entrepreneurship, recognizes employees for achieving corporate objectives through excellence in their work.
William Timbers, USEC’s President and Chief Executive Officer, presented Arden with a personalized dated desktop clock and a cash award of $1,000 during a ceremony this week in USEC's corporate headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.
Arden has served in various capacities within the Finance organization at Portsmouth since he came to the plant in 1992. These have included Accountant II, Senior Accountant and Senior Accounting Specialist.
Arden and his wife, Sharon, live in Chillicothe with their two sons, Ethan, 10, and Nathan, 11.
In accepting the EIII Award, Arden noted the teamwork that made this success possible and his appreciation of the high level of professionalism and support that came from his fellow employees at the plant and at headquarters.
