PIKETON, Ohio - USEC Inc. has awarded Anita McGinnis, a Human Resources Generalist at USEC’s Piketon Plant, its quarterly E-III President’s Award for exemplary performance in coordinating and directing Human Resources activities at the site. The E-III Award, which stands for Employee Excellence and Entrepreneurship, recognizes employees for achieving corporate objectives through excellence in their work.

Dennis Spurgeon, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, presented Anita with a personalized dated desktop clock and a cash award of $1,000 during a management luncheon on June 29.

Anita has served in various capacities within the Human Resources organization at Portsmouth since she came to the plant in 1981. These have included Office Manager, Labor Relations, Employment and Staffing Manager. She is currently a Human Resources Generalist. She has also attended courses at Shawnee State.

Anita and her husband, Doug, live in Minford. They have five children: Jared and Megan Dever, and Josh, Jason and Jessica McGinnis.
