BETHESDA, Md. - USEC Inc. announces the promotion of David A. Fosson to Operations Manager at the Portsmouth plant. He reports to Sandra L. Fout, Enrichment Plant Manager.

Fosson has served as a Group Manager in Operations since 1996. He first came to Portsmouth in February 1977 as a Senior Clerk in Records Management and Engineering Records. In 1979, he transferred to Operations as a Production Process Operator. In 1982, he became a First Line Manager, and in 1989, he was appointed Cascade Coordinator. He became a Section Manager in 1995.

Fosson previously served as a Chemical Supervisor at the Fernald facility near Cincinnati. He has attended both Ohio University and Shawnee State University.

He and his wife, Laura, live in Waverly with their three children, Brandon, Natalie and Nicolas.
