PIKETON, Ohio – USEC Inc. has named Frankie Dawkins as Manager of Training and Procedures at its American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon.
Dawkins has 21 years of service at USEC’s Piketon plant where she began her career in 1983 when she joined the Training organization for the former centrifuge program. She served 14 years in the training organization, she worked in the Nuclear Materials Accountability department and she also served as an Operator with Process Operations. In 1994, Dawkins became a Senior Technical Trainer for Process Operations. In April 2006, she began working for the American Centrifuge Plant as an Instructional Technologist and Procedure Writer and was promoted to Senior Instructional Technologist in October 2007, a position that placed her as a lead over the American Centrifuge training staff.
Dawkins previously worked as a training contractor at USEC’s facility in Paducah, Ky., and she also worked at the Department of Energy’s Hanford site in Richland, Wash., from 2001-2003.
Dawkins and her husband, Danny, live in Lucasville. She has a son, Nathan Coriell, a daughter, Ashley Coriell, and one granddaughter, Ava Coriell.
