USEC Inc. Names Ronald Yauch Quality Assurance Manager for Construction

PIKETON, Ohio - USEC Inc. has named Ronald Yauch as Quality Assurance Manager (Construction) for the American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon. He reports to Pete Miner, Director, Regulatory and Quality Assurance.

Yauch brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry to his new position. Since 2005, he has served as Site Quality Assurance Manager for the Uranium Disposition Services Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride Conversion Project. He previously served for 20 years in various Quality Assurance positions on construction projects throughout the United States.

Yauch has an associate’s degree in welding engineering technology and nuclear services technology. He holds national certifications with the American Welding Society, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the American Concrete Institute and the American Society for Nondestructive Testing.

Yauch and his wife, Wanda, live in Athens, Alabama. They have four children: Michael, David, Holly and Ronald, and they have eight grandchildren.

USEC Inc., a global energy company, is a leading supplier of enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants. It expects to deploy the next generation uranium enrichment technology in Piketon, Ohio – the American Centrifuge.
