USEC Inc. Names Vivian Semonian Human Resources Manager for American Centrifuge

PIKETON, Ohio – Vivian Semonian has joined USEC Inc. as Human Resources Manager for the American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio.

Semonian has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources. For the past six years, she has served as Human Resources Director at GENCO, a Pittsburgh-based logistics company with 5500 employees that operates 90 distribution and return centers throughout North America for the retail and manufacturer industries. Prior to that, she was a Division HR Manager for the H.J. Heinz Company in Pittsburgh. She has held other HR management positions with Cegelec AEG Automation Systems (formerly Westinghouse), Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania and the Union Carbide Corporation in Charleston, West Virginia.

Semonian has a bachelor of science in communications and advertising from Kent State University. She and her husband Bruce have one son, Bret.

USEC Inc., a global energy company, is a leading supplier of enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants. It expects to deploy the next generation uranium enrichment technology in Piketon, Ohio – the American Centrifuge. The United States Enrichment Corporation, a subsidiary of USEC Inc., operates a uranium enrichment plant in Paducah, Kentucky, and does contract work for the U.S. Department of Energy in Piketon.
