BETHESDA, Md. - USEC Inc. (NYSE: USU) announced today that Sydney M. Ferguson is resigning her position as senior vice president for corporate communications and government relations at USEC to assist in the presidential and senatorial elections.

Ferguson contributed to the strengthening of USEC’s government relations and communications functions. “Sydney’s many contributions to USEC are greatly appreciated. We wish her well in her future endeavors,” said William H. Timbers, President and Chief Executive Officer.
