BETHESDA, Md. - USEC Inc. (NYSE: USU) today announced it has signed an agreement with the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) to extend its nuclear fuel enrichment supply contract with the utility for an additional three years, from calendar year 2007 through 2009. KEPCO has also agreed to additional enrichment purchases between 2004 and 2007. All together, the new agreement amounts to approximately $150 million in new business.

KEPCO is a leader in nuclear power generation, with 15 operating reactors producing more than 41 percent of the country’s electricity.
