BETHESDA, Md. - USEC Inc. (NYSE: USU) announced today that Executive Vice President Jeffry E. Sterba will join Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) as the company’s president.
Sterba will commence his new responsibilities in mid-March, and it is expected that he will assume the role of PNM’s CEO in the future. Sterba had previously served 21 years at PNM.
William H. (Nick) Timbers, USEC’s President and CEO, said, "Jeff has done an excellent job in ensuring a customer-focused international marketing effort and has been very creative in developing new initiatives for the company. We appreciate Jeff’s contributions and wish him well in this new role as PNM’s president."
